At one time we dared not even whisper. Now we write and read samizdat and sometimes when we gather in the smoking room of the Science Institute we complain frankly to one another. What kind of tricks are they playing on us, and where are they dragging us? There is gratuitous boasting of cosmic achievements while poverty and destruction exist at home. Propping up remote uncivilised regimes. Fanning up civil war. And we recklessly fostered Mao Tse-tung (at our expense) — and we shall be the ones sent to war against him and we will have to go. Is there any way out? They put anybody they want on trial and put sane people in asylums – always they; we are powerless.
Things have almost reached rock-bottom. A universal spiritual death has already touched…

I wrote a poet today about book banning which is in my opinion a further explanation of my above comment on your blog.
Are school children being groomed, brainwashed, abused, and psychologically influenced by reading books detailing explicit gay or transgender sexual practices in the USA?

Hmmm, interesting! I would suggest that we keep in mind that there are powers and principalities at play that are so much bigger and more powerful than us. Thank God for America and our independent spirit, but I think that sometimes we forget that there is more going on beneath and above than we understand.
“Live not by lies” reminds me of my trip to the grocery store, the self checkout. “How many bags do you wish to purchase?” Well, none, I don’t “wish” to buy any bags! “Do you consent to pay this amount?” Well no, no I do not consent. That’s outrageously expensive! Perhaps I haven’t got any other choice, but no, I do not “consent” to these prices. And then at the door, they check “my work,” they match my purchases to my receipt. Like literally I am having an employee review and I don’t even work for them, I get paid nothing for my labors but I will be in big trouble if I haven’t performed them properly. And now you can leave a tip! I kid you not, you can now tip the corporation for the privilege of having scanned your own purchases!
The lies are always hidden in the tiny things, the mundane and ordinary. We think nothing of them at the time. It is not as if jack booted thugs just start marching down your street one day. We are primed, groomed even, to finally accept what is unacceptable.
Over the years, I’ve written and quoted a great deal of Solzhenitsyn – ‘Lessons to the West’— he hit the nail on the head with his seemingly prophetic words— yet the West has never cared to pay attention— his words came from one who had been there, seen that, experienced it and suffered through it— yet his wisdom, his warnings are largely ignored or readily forgotten—
Who says there are no longer prophets??
Possibly. Prophets don’t always know that they are speaking what God wants said, and too often we don’t recognize we are hearing what God wants us to hear.
So true— on both counts!!! But it dawned on me when I was responding to your post that yes— we do not think there are still prophets but they are often right under our noses

Our children are either being psychologically brainwashed in public secular schools, phone apps, etc. while at the same time parents are being brainwashed by the main street news media.

We all need to wise up to the fact that government-controlled education is a form of control tool to brainwash children.
And billionaires’ control of the mass media is a tool being used to brainwash and control which is opposite to freedom of the press to ““The civic purpose of journalism is to provide people with the information, they need to be free and self-governing,”
