In A FAILURE OF MORAL CHARACTER: ON THE OUTRAGEOUS INDICTMENT OF PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP — UPDATED, we discussed the difference between “justice” and “social justice.” If you did not read that post, please do. Then the following will make more sense.
This is a fallen world, but America was once a relatively pleasant place to live. Unfortunately, more and more Americans know little of their cultural heritage. Bereft of faith in Jesus Christ or even the knowledge of God, Americans have grown increasingly decadent. Truth and Justice are no longer one with the American way (https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/16/entertainment/superman-new-motto-dc-fandome-cec/index.html).
What is wrong with America? We are using love as an excuse to call what is good evil and what is evil good. Using love as an excuse, we are calling vile ideological beliefs good, and we would deny our fellow citizens of their God-given rights. Whether its members realize it or not, the Democratic Party once again seeks to put the United States on the path to slavery.
Consider the fact that the Democratic Party is much more extreme than it was just a few decades ago. Because that party has become so extreme, it is more appropriate to call today’s Democratic Party, the Liberal Democrat Marxist Party.
Is calling the Democratic Party the Liberal Democrat Marxist Party an overstatement? No. If we look up the Manifesto Of the Communist Party by Karl Marx, we will find in difficult to find anything in that document that Democrats disagree with, but let’s keep it simple. Let’s look at the definition of Marxism.
Marxism
noun
Marx·ism ˈmärk-ˌsi-zəm: the political, economic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Marxism
especially : a theory and practice of socialism (see SOCIALISM sense 3) including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society
Does the Democratic Party advocate Socialism? For all practical purposes, it does. Every solution Democrats advocate for every problem involves more government. Name one the doesn’t. Would that be aborting the birth of babies? Don’t Democrats want government to pay for abortions? Regardless of whether we approve of killing babies, Democrats insist we approve of the murder of the unborn. Nevertheless, Democrats insist they are prochoice. They just want government “experts” to make all of our choices for us. Only the “experts,” people so expert that they cannot define the word “woman,” are qualified to make any decisions.
Does the Democratic Party pit the poor against the rich? No, Democrats get the money they need to campaign for public office from the fabulously wealthy. Instead, Democrats pit the rich and the poor against the people in the middle. To the poor, anyone who makes a good living is rich. To the rich, wage earners are overpaid.
The Bible does not advocate Socialism. The Bible advocates a committed work ethic. The Apostle Paul put it this way.
2 Thessalonians 3:6-12 New American Standard Bible
6 Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother or sister who leads a disorderly life and not one in accordance with the tradition which you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined way among you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; 9 not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a role model for you, so that you would follow our example. 10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. 11 For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies. 12 Now we command and exhort such persons in the Lord Jesus Christ to work peacefully and eat their own bread.
Love is not robbing Peter to pay Paul. Love is the hard work of setting a good example.
Unfortunately, Democrats don’t stop at class warfare. Democrats advocate something that they innocuously call “social justice.” That is, Liberal Democrat Marxists portray themselves as Social Justice Warriors.
What is “social justice”?
social justice
[ soh-shuhl juhs-tis ]noun
https://www.dictionary.com/browse/social-justice
fair treatment of all people in a society, including respect for the rights of minorities and equitable distribution of resources among members of a community.
On a superficial level, “social justice” sounds good. Doesn’t the dictionary use all the correct buzzwords? However, “social justice” is based upon Paganistic beliefs like Identity Politics; Critical Race Theory; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; LGBTQ rights, and Climate Justice. When combined with Socialism, the equitable distribution of resources regardless of merit, “social justice” becomes a disaster. In particular, “social justice” violates the Bible’s prohibition against showing partiality (click => partial for a list of verses).
What is showing partiality?
partiality
[ pahr-shee-al-i-tee, pahr-shal- ]noun, plural par·ti·al·i·ties.
https://www.dictionary.com/browse/partiality
- the state or character of being partial.
- a favorable bias or prejudice: the partiality of parents for their own children.
- a special fondness, preference, or liking (usually followed by to or for): a partiality for country living.
Consider an example. There is nothing wrong with being partial to our children, but we are not supposed to be unjust to other people’s children for the sake of our own children. If your child bullies the neighbor’s child, are you supposed to defend your child’s “right” to be a bully because your child is your child? Some parents do that, and they end up with a child who gets into trouble all the time.
James 2:1-13 provides an example of inappropriate partiality related to church life. Deuteronomy 16:18-20 provides an example from the Bible related to the judicial process. Since the administration of the law is the topic here……
Deuteronomy 16:18-20 New American Standard Bible
18 “You shall appoint for yourself judges and officers in all your towns which the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 You shall not distort justice, you shall not show partiality; and you shall not accept a bribe, because a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the righteous. 20 Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, so that you may live and possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
Note that showing partiality is right up there with taking a bribe. Justice requires that we each receive what is rightfully due to us. “Social justice,” however, provides an excuse for systematic legal favoritism (showing partiality) towards various groups based upon their membership in some sort of identity group. Instead deciding legal issues based upon the merits of the case, “social justice” provides an excuse to decide legal issues based upon race, sex, gender, political alignment, religious beliefs, ethnicity, and so forth. Carried to its logical conclusion what does “social justice” lead to? Slavery.
But don’t the Social Justice Warriors have good intentions? Good intentions? Yes. Ethical beliefs? No.
Don’t blacks deserve to be compensated for a history of slavery, for example? Why? The blacks who were slaves are dead, and the people who enslaved those slaves are dead. If we punish whites for slavery now, that is not justice; that is just the bigotry of reverse racism.
Because of the racism of some whites, the people of the South, blacks and white, suffered from the Civil War and for decades afterwards. Reverse racism will just continue to cause suffering. Isn’t about time we started judging each other as Martin Luther King said we should, by the content of our character (Read Martin Luther King Jr.’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech in its entirety).
Slaves are slaves because they cannot use the legal system to protect their God-given rights. Slaves are slaves because the legal system will not render to slaves what should be their own. Instead, government officials use unjust laws to take what rightfully belongs to those unjust laws declare to be slaves. Government officials give the property of slaves, including the use of their minds and bodies, to those unjust laws declare to be their masters.
Who do unjust laws declare to be slaves? That is based upon the “social justice” of reverse racism, vengeful feminism, gender lunacy, political bias, religious bigotry, ethnic favoritism, and so forth. Who do unjust laws declare the slave masters? That is based upon the “social justice” of reverse racism, vengeful feminism, gender lunacy, political bias, religious bigotry, ethnic favoritism, and so forth.
Note that unjust laws hide something important. Our sins enslave us. When would be slave masters try to own other human beings, they are enslaved by their sins. It is much easier to love our neighbor than it is to own him.
Note also a seeming contradiction. Why are those who are supposedly the smartest and best educated among us the most eager advocates in the Liberal Democrat Marxist Party?
- Government, including foreign governments, have pumped huge sums of money into our educational institutions. Government has become the primary customer of our educational institutions, and too many government officials want more government and a population devoted to government.
- From the perspective of educators, who are the best students? They are those students who believe them and most readily accept and parrot the official doctrine.
- Promoting Socialism and “social justice” is virtue signaling for academics who don’t believe in God.
- In the brave new world they would create, academics are the “experts” who would get to make all the decisions. These “experts” would be the vanguard of the proletariat.
- Bribes. We know for a fact that universities and public officials have taken money from Communist China, a country that is bringing coal-fired power plants online as fast as it can. But don’t worry or feel cheated. If the USA falls under the heel of totalitarian state, that will be climate justice. Just see what TikTok has to say.
Because of government funding, the “best students” now succeed in academia. Whereas, in the past when academic institutions depended upon private funding, the ideas of educators had to work before people took them seriously. Because Socialism and “social justice” are unjust, neither Socialism nor “social justice” work. So, we must rigorously fight any effort to implement either Socialism or “social justice.” That includes telling our children that those who practice Socialism and “social justice” treat their families, friends, neighbors, and countrymen hatefully.

“Love is not robbing Peter to pay Paul. Love is the hard work of setting a good example.” That is so perfectly apt Tom and we are so blatantly far away from this culturally. Good post. Thanks for linking to my blog too.
Thanks for compliment.
It is a privilege to link to your blog. Just keep doing your best to warn folks about Gavin Christopher Newsom, the governor of a once golden state. That conman is trying to go national.
Yes, Newsom will definitely run for president and God help us all if he wins. If there is no cheating, I don’t think he stands a chance. His ego is big enough to lead him to believe he appeals to people outside of California, but in reality he’s repulsive to many.
Given the numbers leaving California, he seems to be repulsive there too.
Tom
True love cannot lead to evil.
Psychology today implies true love is unconditional love.
What you are describing in your post are Democrat’s love with a whole slew of conditions, attached, in my opinion.
Regards and goodwill blogging.,

Agreed!
I think that the current NWO Regime is to the Left of Marxism. Consider that China, North Korea, and Cuba are all on their official ‘enemies’ list. Libya. Syria, and Ukraine were Socialist states, and Obama fomented Color Revolutions there—two of which were successful.
Stalin, Tito, and Castro had social policies that favored non-discrimination and a wide social safety net; they also encouraged law-and-order, traditional families and hard work. On the other side, there were radical Marxists like the Bolsheviks and Khmer Rouge whom our postmodern Left is really closer to in spirit. They’ve co-opted a lot of terminology like ‘social justice,’ ‘progressivism,’ ‘racial equality’ and perverted them from their original meaning. They actually stress ‘hate’ much more than they do ‘love.’ Hate to them is defined by whatever is opposed to their ideology; hence love by extension is whatever favors it. For example, I’ve been called a ‘hater’ many times for opposing things like Mask Mandates and Gun Control. Conversely, I well remember the Seattle ‘Chaz Zone’ being called a ‘Summer of Love’ when they were looting businesses and beating up the owners—not to mention throwing Christian street preachers bodily over the barricades.
Is the current regime more extreme than the old Communists? I suppose the current regime seems that way. Consider that Marxism doesn’t provide a system for setting up a government. Instead, Marxism provides a scheme for overthrowing the existing order. Since Marx had a fundamental misunderstanding of how societies work, his scheme only worked in societies that were already unstable. So, Satan had to “improve” it. He did that by ruining our education system and by giving people more excuses to hate each other in the name of “social justice.”
Well said, Tom. Love is definitely NOT the gateway to evil. Or at least it shouldn’t be! I like how the Bible reminds us, “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” That’s not just for poetry for weddings, it’s also really good wisdom for letting us see what has gone all awry in our country and how we now relate to one another.
Some of the ugliest things I’ve seen lately is some of the “little people” cheering on many of these unjust or extra-judicial actions, everything from persecuting the Jan 6 protesters to wanting Trump arrested and locked up for life just because. What makes that all so ugly is that we are the “little people.” The bias, the corruption, the vengeful prosecutions, doesn’t really hurt the elite, they hurt us. These are our rights, put in place to protect us from a weaponized legal system. We are tearing down our own safety net.

Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for the verses 1 Corinthians 13.
My post focused mostly upon what is not love. Your comment reminds of what love should be.
The “little people” are acting against the own interests primarily because they were not properly taught as children. May God forgive those of us who failed teach their children His Word.
