I am growing old. My children have children.
So, I have been watching the mess that the Biden administration has been making of our economy with wonder. Other people, however, cannot waste time watch the disaster slowly unfold. They have to deal immediately with a more serious problem. How do I feed my family?
Lisa has some ideas. Maybe we can use them.

As with most of you, we’re living on a shoestring budget as the cost of groceries just keeps going up with seemingly no end in sight…at least not in the near future. And if you think it’s all due to “supply chain issues,” I think you are being naïve. But that’s another blog.
Working in the grocery store, I see what the prices do: they go up thirty cents to one dollar (sometimes more) in a week and keep increasing until people stop buying. Then the stores, manufacturers, whoever is in charge, lower them back down about thirty cents so you think you’re getting a bargain. You’re not.

We are really blessed not to have four growing kids in our house anymore. When you are looking after a family, it’s quite a bit more challenging.
Hubby and I actually felt quite rich the other day, in the grocery store! Today we’re able to eat less, keep it simple, and focus more on quality. Rather then a 300 dollar cart of food for the family, we can just grab some olive oil and eggs. I’m still trying to teach my hubby that it’s okay not to cook a big dinner everyday.
Guys do like to eat.
