I am not a believer in the news media. If it is important, I don’t trust either the newspapers or the talking heads to tell me I should think about something. If at possible, I want to see it and hear it for myself. Like it or not, even when the newspapers and the talking heads don’t lie, their biases color what they see and hear. Therefore, when we don’t have to do so, we should not trust those people. We should verify the truth for our self.

Well, I suppose Trump is white, and he is a nationalist in that he favors policies that advance America’s interests. However, Trump is not a white nationalist just because someone says he is or thinks he is. Reality is something that exists outside of your head.

Trump has a tough long uphill path ahead off him to winn.
Perhaps to put his task in perspective, iif he can convince Doug to vote for him, he will win in 2024, in my opinion..

In his speech, Trump makes a good point. Democrats are making a great case for voting for anyone but them.
Can Doug be convinced for Trump? My guess is that CNN would have to convince Doug to vote for Trump. Doubt Doug will listen to Trump.
We have a local newspaper here, Tom. I suppose I should be grateful to that little paper for botching the job so badly over the years and teaching me that absolutely nothing the media says should ever be trusted.
Your local newspaper is probably not owned by a big corporation. Lots of them are now.
