What did I think the candidates were trying to do?
- Ryan wants to paint Vance as a dangerous white supremacist MAGA extremist.
- Vance wanted voters to understand that Ryan would be another vote for the Liberal Democrat left led by Schumer and Pelosi.
How do I hope voters will see this debate? I hope that voters will see Ryan’s effort gaslight us. I hope that voters will finally see through the most glaring example. I hope that voters will see through Ryan’s effort to portray Vance’s advocacy for a strong border as racist. I hope that what Ryan is doing will anger voters. I hope that righteously angry voters will come to the polls and vote huge numbers to elect Republicans.
Look at what we have done. We have elected a demented old man to be our president. That is after power-hungry leaders locked us into our homes for a couple of years, frightening us with a disease that was probably created in Communist China with the help of Federal Government funding. Even now devious gaslighting liars among our elites would have us believe that global warming is real, and they are the solution. Isn’t time we started voting these people out before they wreck our country?

I cheered when I first saw that video. It’s a great example of how politicians unfairly accused of being racist, or homophobic or whatever, should respond.
