First, let’s look at this odd story in the news.
On Monday, Danish and Swedish seismologists measured what they say were explosions along the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, which bring Russian gas to Germany and the rest of Western Europe. Those explosions released and probably will continue to release a substantial amount of gas from the pipelines.

Someone sabotaged those two pipelines. Who? We don’t know. Only the culprit knows, but that did not stop the accusations. The West hints that Russia did it. The Russians blame the United States.

Tucker Carlson is pushing an idea that that is somewhat unique in the Western media. Because of the threats made by President Biden, Carlson suggests the Biden admin made have ordered sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines.
In early February, less than three weeks before the war in Ukraine began, Joe Biden suggested on camera that he might take out these pipelines. Watch.

The desire of Liberal Democrats to demonize Russia’s tyrant, Vladimir Putin, and blame him for all their troubles has become a bit dangerous. The Biden administration has driven Putin into the arms of the Chinese Communists and pushed Putin to the brink of nuclear war.
Is the Biden administration deliberately trying to start a war with Russia or just thoroughly incompetent? Do Liberal Democrats intend to use conflict with Russia to manipulate us, or is Biden demented?
Liberal Democrats seem obsessed with controlling us and forcing their “woke” agenda upon us. Therefore, we should suspect that they would use a war crisis the same way they used the COVID-19 crisis. At the same time, however, President Biden often seems demented. So, we don’t know what has motivated all his bad decisions. We just know someone sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines, but we don’t know who did it.
In fact, the news media isn’t even giving a complete list of suspects. Why isn’t anyone suggesting that the Communist Chinese might be the culprit?
- If Russia does decide to engage in a violent conflict with Western democracies, who would have more to gain than the Communist Chinese?
- Why have our leaders made so many the terrible decisions, decisions that clearly led to conflict with Russia? That includes:
- Supporting Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. Biden is too old for the job, and he is clearly receiving illicit funds from China.
- The abandonment of Afghanistan. After Biden pulled our troops out of Afghanistan without even getting the civilians out first, he made the USA look weak. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was almost inevitable.
- Ukraine’s surprising resistance shamed NATO into supporting its sovereignty. Unfortunately, at least at the beginning, the West’s support was half-hearted.
So, we have to ask. Whose side are our leaders on? Why are they ignoring the threat posed by Communist China?
That’s said, Russia could be the culprit, but it is odd no one is even mentioning the possibility that Chinese Communists sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines.

Blasting its own pipeline — thus hindering the flow and sale of its own fuel to Western Europe, ergo cutting the cashflow it now needs more than ever for its military conquest in Ukraine — amounts to Russia shooting itself in the foot.
Really, how do they benefit? And, if Russia’s intention was to disrupt their fuel-flow to Europe, why not save themselves all that trouble and great cost by just shutting off the flow via the valve controls on its own territory?
The U.S., on the other hand, does have motive; and its navy was in the area in June performing military exercises. Not to mention, President Joe Biden did state publicly earlier this year that the U.S. could, and would if Russia continued misbehaving, disrupt Russian fuel-flow to Europe and therefor much-needed funding for Russia’s war machine.
That all seems to be true.
It will be cold in Europe this winter. I wonder how much the power of the elites will grow as the result of this crisis.
I’m no fan of Putin’s Russia (in fact, I wear a ribbon with the Ukraine-flag colors), but I must note that the mainstream news-media I’ve consumed has ignored this florescent elephant in the room [i.e. that it seems absurd that Russia would damage this pipeline].
Unfortunately, Putin is not the only villain in the world, but it does suit some of the other villains as their scapegoat.

There is nothing to be gained in debating conservatives because they are so locked into their thinking that nothing is going to move them from their conceptions. It was not always this way. There was a time when conservatives were noble; but since the advent of Trump they have morphed into something else. And it did not begin with Trump — it began with an obscenity calling itself the tea party.
I have been listening to NPR this evening. They spend an absurd amount of time trying to make the election about Trump. Their excuse is the supposed Jan 6 insurrection at the Capitol. I was at the Jan 6 rally. The crowd was immense, and Trump specifically called for peaceful protest. Did a small portion of the crowd start rioting even before Trump stopped speak? Yes.
Democrats were responsible for the security and they let those fools get out of hand. Democrats deliberately chose not to provide proper security. Trump offered National Guard troops, and the Democrats refused. With those troops in place, no riot would have taken place.
Democrats also allowed riots — violence (dozens of deaths) and property destruction (over $2 billion) — all summer long in cities and states they run in 2020. That is obscene.
Trump isn’t on the ballot, If the Jan 6 riot is the best complaint Democrats have against Republicans, that is absurd, especially after the hundreds of violent Democrat riots during the summer of 2020.
When Conservatives ask people to vote for Republicans, we do so based primarily on the issues. We can and do make logical arguments. Democrats, on the other hand, only seem to be able complain that they are not getting their way. Supposed, their way is somehow more holy, but Democrats cannot explain how their way would actually work. They just say it will.

This morning news article from Copenhagen states the pipelines are back to normal pressure.
In my opinion, whoever is responsible for the initial leaks motive is to keep gas prices high. For example, Putin and all energy suppliers are providing more and producing the same or less than demand.
China benefits by making agreements with Russia for cheaper pricing which serves China to not take sides on Ukraine.
Putin is a master strategist and is probably making more now from selling his gas and oil than before his invasion by benefiting from higher energy prices even though he is supplying less.

My “front runner” for the culprit is the Biden administration. They as much as threatened it beforehand and now are tight lipped to answer if they did it or not.
If the Biden administration did it, they cannot admit to it. The Russian people, not just Putin, would consider it an act of war. Moreover, lots of Americans would be angry Biden would do something so stupid.
The solution to the problem Putin poses is letting America’s fossil fuel industries produce energy. China poses a more difficult problem. I fear China has had better success corrupting our elites and buying off our politicians.
Look at Numbers 25 and consider how Moab proposed to conquer Israel. It may very well be that China is our Moab, and we are failing this test.
I have always supported fossil fuels because if they ever go all electric nobody will be able to afford it .. they will have to rebuild the entire grid ..it will be so expensive that ordinary taxpayers will never be able to support it. I do kind of favor the solar panel idea however… not the windmills though.
The main problem with the windmills and the solar panels is that sometimes they don’t work. Until we find an efficient way of storing energy, we must have a reliable way of generating electricity when the wind is not blowing at the right velocity or the sun is not shining.

So long as they don’t abuse other people, I think people have the right to run their own lives. Sometimes, because we all live on the same planet, it is difficult to do anything without upsetting someone else, but that is why we make laws, and we hope our judges are wise.
Are some people who call themselves Conservatives busybodies? Yes. Anyone can stick whatever label they want on themselves. Generally, however, Conservatives, more than Liberal Democrats, prefer less government. That equates to less interference in our lives.
Consider the usual complaint about Conservatives. Supposedly, Social Conservatives are trying to force their beliefs on others. That means prohibiting contraception, outlawing abortion, dress codes, Bible education everyone’s children, establishing a theocracy and forcing everyone to attend church on Sundays.
Actually, most Conservatives just want to balance the budget, outlaw abortion and choose the school their children attend, In addition, we want to stop the growth of a Socialist state. Do you really want to live in a country where everything and everyone belongs to the government. That is the logical progression of what we are now doing.
Some people argue that Liberals want to force their agenda on everybody else and when it comes to government that is probably true … but the same thing is true of the conservatives. I believe that whoever is in power in Washington shows their desire to control everyone’s lives and that is why they pass the laws that they pass. For example, the Liberals want to raise social security on a regular basis which places a burden on the ever growing national budget but the conservatives want to limit or to do away with social security and all that will do will be to throw millions of people under the bus and into poverty. I think the whole concept of government is control no matter who is in the congress and the white house.
