Make sure you check out that post on American Minute with Bill Federer. Interesting blend of history and religious instruction.

In his Easter Address, April 2, 1983, President Ronald Reaganstated:
“This weekJewish familiesand friends have been celebratingPassover …
Its observance reminds all of us that thestruggle for freedomand thebattle against oppressionwaged by theJewssinceancient timesis one shared by people everywhere.
AndChristianshave been commemorating the last momentous days leading to thecrucifixionofJesus1,950 years ago.
Tomorrow, as morning spreads around the planet, we’ll celebrate thetriumph of life over death, the Resurrection of Jesus.” […]
When I tell atheists that one of the major themes of the Old Testament is God freeing the Hebrews from slavery to Pharaoh, and that the major theme of the New Testament is Jesus freeing all of mankind from slavery to sin, they think I am lying to them.
Atheists even think that Christian Easter is a pagan holiday.
It is amazing that atheists obsess over the Bible yet have no idea what it means.

That is the difference between understanding the individual words in a sentence and understanding a sentence.
Atheists don’t want to believe the Bible. None of us do, but God enable some of us to accept His Word, and that is the difference.
