Tom,
You stated, “When we demonize our opponents, we lie about them, and lying is a sin.”
However, there is a righteous side to the term political correctness. That is when we demand our legislators to be politically correct and adhere to the oaths of office they take when entering office.
In other words, legislators who swear to uphold the Constitution, and abide by the laws, but decide after being elected they know better than the laws, are not being politically correct, they should be considered as demonizing the office and laws they swore to uphold.
I chose the word demonize because seculars in office for the most part do not believe in the concept of sin,
Check out my post today titled: Biden, gangs, and drugs conundrum for an example of how Biden and Harris have “turned their backs” on the oaths they took wheb they placed their hand on a Bible.
Political correct in other words should mean politicians are supposed to be correct in obey the laws they swore to uphold. And if they do not should be held accountable when they refuse to do what they took an oath to obey, instead of using their tactic of demonizing anyone who disagrees lawfully with their arguments.
Instead of demonizing people for not being politically correct according to what they believe.
If they want to change a law, the Constitution allows for them to do it lawfully (in a politically correct manner) instead of demonizing their opponents.

@Scatterwisdom
The expression “politically correct” did have a righteous purpose originally. The Communists corrupted it. If you want to take the expression back and make it roughly equivalent to keeping the oath of office, that makes sense to me.
Tom,
Thanks for your comment.
Seems like a righteous endeavor to expand on for a future post subject i may writie after I dwell on the possibbiltiys as it relates to wisdom.
