Introduction
What does the expression “politically correct” mean to you? What does the picture of a mirage have to do with being “politically correct?” Well, just like a mirage, political correctness is deceptive. Political correctness leads us to accommodate lies until our increasing acquiescence allows the sins of liars to enslave us.
What kind of sins? Well, political correctness is obviously related to politics, but the sins are ordinary enough.
Here in the Introduction we will try to spark your interest and show the relevance of the topic. With a couple of examples we will show how political correctness is used to shame people into lying.
So let’s begin with our examples.

Tom,
I googled a question, is the term political correctness a misnomer?
Quora listed various opinions. I liked this one.
It’s not a misnomer, but it’s often misused.
“Political correctness” is the attitude of the burrowing apparatchik who is unwilling to question authority, to rock the boat, or to stick their neck out. But it is often used so loosely that one has no idea what authority is being referred to.

@Scatterwisdom
In this country. Politically correct thought is promoted by our educational establishment, Big Tech, and the news media. Since they have become increasingly deliberate about it, it isn’t hard to see. However, people will deny it anyway.
Tom, I agree “they have become increasingly deliberate about it,”
Problem is, in my opinion, too many people have not been trained or educated are becoming fewer and fewer how to be skeptical and discern before they choose who to trust.
For example, I just gave this opinion to our mutual blogger friend Doug in my latest post on the Arizona Recount Results. Doug seems to believe barcoding as something we can trust if it is printed on a paper ballot.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

a politically correct person is someone who would rather play follow the leader than use their own intellect to “think” . . . that makes him/her a boring person, a person hiding in fear from their very own selves. All these people surrounding Biden come to mind. . .
@pitybull1
I don’t know what motivates individuals. We can guess at the motives of groups, but individuals often hide their motives. In particular, I doubt we would get much honesty from the people surrounding Biden.
one man’s considered honesty . . . is another man’s downright lie.
We all cry for a king from ‘out there’ while starving the king ‘in here.’
