Prince William County releases draft equity, inclusion policy | News | princewilliamtimes.com

Note the date, July 23, 2021. We now only have a couple of days to squelch the adoption of this Equity and Inclusion Policy. Should we? YES!

Consider. What is the point of this policy? Do we want the Board of County Supervisors to elevate equity of outcome over equality before the law?

  • Do we want a just society, one that treats everyone equally before the law without regard to their race, sex, and creed?

Passing man’s laws will never create equity as proven in history. If we want equity we need to study and obeying God’s Laws.

Your post reminded me of Proverb which can be related to politicians as fools for “meddling” to cease strife.: Instead, they are creating strife instead of “honor” which is obtained by obeying God’s Laws to end strife.

It is an honor for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
    (Proverb 20:3)

    For Example

In other words, pass a law that even Google recommend to be repeated over and over daily by the legislators and in every school..

The phrase (or Command in the Bible) “do unto others as you would have done unto you” should be used as a reminder for oneself, or for someone else, to always treat other people as you’d like to be treated. Sometimes, the phrase might be silently recited in one’s mind or pasted on a poster in a classroom. (Google)

    Regards and goodwill blogging.

Pride is the root of all sin. That is why most men don’t pay much attention to that admonition to “do unto others as you would have done unto you.” We have to love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, and we have to love others as we love our self. We don’t do that.
