Imagine Having Communist China For A Next-door Neighbor
Occasionally I visit Insightful Geopolitics – Impartial Informative Always. Like the writer, SANDOMINA, I am a former military officer. Unlike the writer, I live in America, on the other side of the world. So, I can relate. Then again, I cannot. I can only imagine.
India and China border each other. Fortunately, these two nations are separated by the world’s most massive mountain range, the legendary Himalayas. Still, India and China have had military clashes with each other. Because of its ideological beliefs, Communist China has trouble getting along with all of its neighbors. India, because it is a nation of human beings, is, of course, somewhat difficult too.
What is SANDOMINA‘s latest post? 04 June 1989: The Date CCP Wants to Forget – Insightful Geopolitics. In 1989 China had huge demonstrations in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Those of us Americans old enough to remember remember the demonstrations from TV. Sadly, the Communist Party crushed the demonstrators. Therefore, the demonstrations became a turning point, and it was a turn in the wrong direction. The USA should have disengaged from China then, but too many of our leaders just saw the opportunity for profits. So, our news people made a big deal about a guy standing in front of a tank, and that was supposedly some kind of victory.
I don’t think our so-called mainstream media news people well understand the writings George Orwell. If they do, that is even more scary.
SANDOMINA is a geopolitical analyst, and he is pretty good at evaluating what is going on in China. Nonetheless, I wonder if he underestimates Xi Jinping. America and China are adversaries too, and we are in a moral conflict unlike anything America has known. Not so long ago, Joe Biden could not have become our president. He would not have passed the character test. Our people would have seen all his lies and firmly rejected him. In fact, in the past we did reject him because we saw him as a liar. Now we have reason to wonder whether China is using leaders like Biden, people lacking any decent moral compass, against us. If Communist China is buying off our leaders, that is not a trivial advantage. When our own president is so corrupt — when we are willing to elect such a crooked man as our president — we cannot win because we cannot fight effectively.
Is India suffering from similar efforts by Chinese Communists to buy off their leaders? I don’t know. I just know this generation of Americans lacks the moral integrity of past generations of Americans, and that makes us especially vulnerable to the corrupting influences of the Chinese Communist Party.
Psalm 12 New American Standard Bible
For the music director; upon an eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm of David.
12 Help, Lord, for the godly person has come to an end,
For the faithful have disappeared from the sons of mankind.
2 They speak lies to one another;
They speak with flattering lips and a double heart.
3 May the Lord cut off all flattering lips,
The tongue that speaks great things;
4 Who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail;
Our lips are our own; who is lord over us?”
5 “Because of the devastation of the poor, because of the groaning of the needy,
Now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will put him in the safety for which he longs.”
6 The words of the Lord are pure words;
Like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, filtered seven times.
7 You, Lord, will keep them;
You will protect him from this generation forever.
8 The wicked strut about on every side
When vileness is exalted among the sons of mankind.
God have mercy upon us! God help us!

You’re welcome.
Tom,
Your statement: “the USA should have disengaged from China then, but too many of our leaders just saw the opportunity for profits” Is ‘spot on.’
I was told by Corporate to buy from them regardless of the differences of their government policies.
However, in fairness, the blame by my Corporate cannot be entirely blamed on Corporate quest for profits.
It was for survival because our competitors buying from China were undercutting our prices and, as I keep stating, the USA workers’ wages and cost of living is much higher than in China workers.
It is impossible in the USA to live on $200 a week wages when a worker must pay $1000 a month rent or mortgage.
In other words, it is Congress to understand Warren Buffett’s 2003 reasoning published in Fortune Magazine for Congressional action to balance trade.
It will take years, if ever, for the USA to catch up to China and the current 30 trillion dollars National Debt is now a heavy burden and getting heavier and heavier by the day.
Sad.
Regards and goodwill blogging.

Slave labor, even wage slaves, provide very inefficient labor. For example, it takes much effort to imprison people in a system they hate, that is, much labor is required to control the slaves. Nevertheless, it is unethical to trade with people who use slave labor.
The debt is a separate problem. Our debt is driven by unnecessary spending, not related to China. China is just willing to buy our debt. Why? That is something to think about.
