THE TOP TEN REASONS TO BE A DEMOCRAT, NOT! — PART 2

Vladimir Lenin, whose pragmatic policies and politics allowed the Bolshevik vanguard party to realise the October Revolution in Russia
(from Leninism – Wikipedia)

Consider that caption. Lenin’s policies were pragmatic. Lenin’s pragmatic policies eventually resulted in the deaths of ten’s of millions. Good April Fools Day joke, right?

Here we have Part 2, the continuation of THE TOP TEN REASONS TO BE A DEMOCRAT, NOT! — PART 1 – Citizen Tom.

  1. I believe the mainstream news media tells us the Truth. I believe that the government is the font of wisdom and understanding. I believe that with the proper use of science and government we can perfect and save mankind from herself. See How we evaluated Americans’ trust in 30 news sources | Pew Research Center, The Concept of a Perfect System of Government | Mises Institute, and Aristotle – Political theory | Britannica.
  2. I believe in voting to protect my pocketbook. I believe we should vote to protect our pocketbooks. Thus, the unofficial slogan of Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 presidential campaign (Every Winning Slogan From US Presidential Campaigns, 1948-2016 (businessinsider.com)) was: “It’s the economy, stupid!” I believe that if a politician offers us “other people’s money” for our votes we should vote for him. After all, the rich are selfish jerks, and they stole that money from us anyway. See It’s Now Down To Trump Trying To Buy Votes (dailykos.com), THE TOP TEN REASONS TO BE A DEMOCRAT, NOT! — PART 1 – Citizen Tom,
  3. I believe that the USA began in 1619, that whites are inherently racist. I believe that we need to teach children to be ANTI-RACIST. I believe we should focus on our guilt for the sins of the past, that when we see someone we should judge them by the color of their skin, not the content of their character. After all, judging folks by their skin color is so much easier. See What critical race theory is — and isn’t – CNN and Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous ‘I Have a Dream’ speech: Full text | Fox News.
  4. I believe the ignorant masses are too stupid to run their own lives and spend their own money. I believe in government-run education so that everyone learns to properly accept the leadership of the best and finest among us. See America’s Cult of Ignorance (thedailybeast.com), It’s Time for the Elites to Rise Up Against the Ignorant Masses – Foreign Policy, Ignorant Masses (forbes.com), Here Are 10 Reasons School Choice Is Winning | The Heritage Foundation, and 1 Samuel 8 NASB – Israel Demands a King – Now it came – Bible Gateway.
  5. I believe I am uniquely qualified to be a member of the Vanguard of the Proletariat. I believe that government should give me the power to make you do what I want. See Revolutionary vanguard – Conservapedia, Lenin: A Study on the Unity of his Thought by Georg Lukacs (marxists.org), and Socialism Requires a Dictator – Foundation for Economic Education (fee.org).

I believe I am uniquely qualified to be a member of the Vanguard of the Proletariat? Who believes such a thing? Well, for the time being we Americans still find it fashionable to hide our pride. Nevertheless, slavery has been the norm of civilization for all we know of the history of man, and it is a rare slave master who thinks he is less than his slaves. For most of human history, humility has been despised. Humility is usually something those higher in the social strata expect from their inferiors. Consider the etymology of the word “villain.”

villain (n.)

c. 1300 (late 12c. as a surname), “base or low-born rustic,” from Anglo-French and Old French vilain “peasant, farmer, commoner, churl, yokel” (12c.), from Medieval Latin villanus “farmhand,” from Latin villa “country house, farm” (from PIE root *weik- (1) “clan”). Meaning “character in a novel, play, etc. whose evil motives or actions help drive the plot” is from 1822.

The most important phases of the sense development of this word may be summed up as follows: ‘inhabitant of a farm; peasant; churl, boor; clown; miser; knave, scoundrel.’ Today both Fr. vilain and Eng. villain are used only in a pejorative sense. [Klein]

Those who fashion themselves as the vanguard, the elite, or royalty don’t think much of the people they supposedly wish to serve. That is because they actually wish to rule and dominate their lessers.

I can’t wait for the 2022 election. Hopefully it is an opportunity to lessen hearing and reading about more liberal foolish news and opinions which have been proven in the past to have failed, yet for some reason keep repeating because we just can’t seem to remember or wise up to understand the reasons for the failures.

I hope your optimism is contagious. We like to be on the winning side. What most of us cannot through our heads and into our hearts is that if we are on the side of evil men, even when it seems like those evil men are winning, always puts us on the losing side.

You stated: “What most of us cannot through our heads and into our hearts is that if we are on the side of evil men, even when it seems like those evil men are winning, always puts us on the losing side.”

The word evil has a broad spectrum to discern.

Most voters are not evil in my opinion regardless of their political leanings.

What makes it evil is the still unresolved election results which in my opinion have yet to be proven because of the short time frame the electors have to make a decision that the election was as described, “the most secure election in history.”

For example, the 2020 election ballots which normally around 5 percent are rejected, only less than 1 percent were rejected which could easily have changed the outcome because of the slim margins of the supposedly “most severe election in history.”

Sad. The voters can not be considered evil, in my opinion. A better word to describe the voters is “rubes,” And we rubes will remain until a real non evil audit is conducted by all the States, which is not going to happen in my opinion.

The only hope is the 2022 election changes the Congress single majority outcomes to slow down the present Orwellian 1984 evil path direction being taken in Washington,

No man is good. We have chosen leaders, whether the election was a fraud or not, who are at cross-purposes with God. Does that make us evil? Since the judgement of souls is something only God can do, I have probably already said too much. All I know is the Biden administration and the Democrat-run Congress are doing evil, and most of the news media is covering up for them.

          Thanks for your comment.

  2. Great points, Tom. I was going to comment in part one but there was too much blathering going on for me to be motivated to comment, so I will blather on here. 🙂

First, as I’ve said before, I do not consider myself a Republican or a Democrat. I don’t like the factious political spirit attached to such allegiences, and I don’t trust either party that much, and I certainly have no trust whatsoever in the government to do the right thing (which makes me a true American. LOL!). But I do always vote, and it’s usually for a Republican, especially now, because the radical neo-Marxist left has matasticizes itself in the Democratic party. and its dangerously toxic cancer will destroy our country. Socialism is an evil ideology, period, like a societal cancer. I voted for Trump, not because He was the latest Republican, but because he wasn’t from the crony D.C. class, and he actually did what he said he would do, and he put America first, which was refreshing, which is also why a lot of liberal Democrats voted for him. Our current POTUS is the polar opposite. He is the opitome of the Swamp, a pathological liar and deceiver.

So, other than voting locally, I can’t find a national-level Democrat I would vote for at this time. I also don’t like pathological liars and deceivers, which Biden is chief. Which irritates me to no end that the “never Trumpers” allowed him to be POTUS. I hope their happy with perhaps the worst and weakest POTUS in American history.

On that note about using deception to gain power, “Shadow to Light” had a great post titled, “Celebrating Deception.”
    https://shadowtolight.wordpress.com/2021/04/01/celebrating-deception/

“Recall how Biden campaigned. He presented himself as a reassuring grandfather of the nation who would restore calm and decency to the US government, a steadying presence who believed in the old-fashioned virtue of quiet competence. He would not be exciting; he would not light up social media. When the right claimed he was a radical socialist, the charge did not stick – because Biden had been around for 50 years and people could see with their own eyes that he was a traditional moderate. That view was helpfully reinforced by those leftists who had long written Biden off as a dull, decrepit centrist, barely fit to shine the shoes of progressive favourites such as Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

But look at him now. Two-thirds into its first 100 days, and the Biden presidency has easily secured the right to be described as radical.”
