A year ago Richmond legislators voted to allow non-physicians to perform abortions. That means that a registered nurse (RN) with advanced training and education may perform abortions in Virginia. While the writer is an RN and believes dedicated nurses might often be more caring and careful than some physicians may be, there is no way a nurse has the experience and training a doctor has. What happens when that nurse runs into a complication during an abortion? The life of the mother is in his or her hands and what if???

As bad as the State of Illinois is, at least our legislators have not gone bonkers like your State seems to have on this issue.
You need some ‘Me Too’ activists to get involved in your State, in my opinion.

I guess we have a wealthier, more busybody population. Whereas the politicians in Illinois seemed able to buy votes with just plain thievery (redistributing the wealth), Democrat voters in our area have to be bought by seeing their own moral decadence forced upon others.

Virginia gets closer to California Standards everyday. So sad. I think I heard Northam say that he likes the California model. Guess he wasn’t kidding.
