I suppose this will annoy some people and hearten others. Can’t please everyone. Was the Trump March a success? I don’t know. Did enough people turn out? I don’t know. Can I predict the future? No. I just try to do what I can. Since half the battle is showing up, I showed up at the Trump March. At least it seemed like a good place to be, and the people were good company.
I arrive early at the Eden Center in Falls Church, VA.People had started arriving. Most of the people were of Asian extraction, Vietnamese in particular. What was I doing here? Dumb luck! They had chartered a couple of buses, and they had some seats left to fill.Trump merchandize. Some of the ladies really dressed up for the occasion. The South Vietnam flag still flies high (asiatimes.com).So does the Trump flag. My guess is that if Joe Biden becomes our president after four years some people will be waving it more enthusiastically than ever.Eventually we got onto the buses. Lots of the windows at ground level were still boarded up, and few people were in the city.Eventually we got onto the buses. Lots of the windows at ground level were still boarded up, and few people were in the city.We disembark from the bus.We march to the assembly area.Washington DC, boarded up and empty.Ruled by Liberal Democrats and COVID-19.The police were there, and the marchers took time to thank them. Even saw people taking photos with the police cars in the background. The vendors were there too.At the assembly point, Freedom Plaza, the crowd begins to arrive.
Added this. Not in the habit of posting videos, but it gives a good idea of the excitement of the crowd. At the assembly point, Freedom Plaza, the crowd begins to arrive. The lady is taking a picture of a child. We had a few counterprotestors.Pershing Park is closed.
The march to the Supreme Court begins. Got a laugh out of the people carrying this banner. When they encountered a small knot of counter protesters, they raised their banner and just took it over their heads. You can see the United States Capitol from here.
I did not think to get a picture of the crowd at the Supreme Court building. It was so crowded there was no way to get near it, and I was stuck among the trees and bushes in park area behind the Capitol and in front of the court building.
Anyway, unless I wanted find my own way home, I had to find my bus ride, and I was already late. So I went looking for it.

The question whether late William Bradley born 1902 has voted in Detroit has been resolved. Due to a clerical error the vote cast by his son, who is going by the same name, was attributed to the dead man. Only one vote was cast between the two of them.
