THE NEW YORK POST HAS A COUPLE OF DISTURBING STORIES

(from here (en.wikipedia.org))

What are the stories that the title of this post references?

The first story provides evidence that Joe Biden is a crooked politician and that he has lied to us about his crooked dealings. The second story provides evidence that Twitter and Facebook is hiding links to The New Post from its clients.

As Americans we have a big decision. What should we make of The New Post‘s story about Joe Biden and his son? Do we want Twitter and Facebook determining what news we can see? Do we want they type of politicians that Twitter and Facebook support running our country?

Please study the issues and vote carefully and observe that powerful people are desperate to keep the truth from us. Considering the…

  1. Note that Biden has not answered the simplest of questions: Is this material true or false? They and their media friends just say “unverified” or “Russian disinformation” — they stick with carefully worded non-denial denials. Which doesn’t just leave an elephant in the room, it leaves a whole circus train of elephants.

  2. Kind of interesting to me the media spin on this one.
They’re been repeating the phrase “Russian disinformation” like parrots since the NY Post published those e mails. Despite the fact there is absolutely no evidence the e mails came from Russia, or that they are fake (aka disinformation). This would indicate: If they are real, the compulsion to prove they are fake would indicate Biden is in deep doo doo.

Seems there is a “Russian interference” theme to block out all Chinese interference themes.
Why always Russia? China peddles 95 percent of the world’s counterfeit items but no mention of them?
And (just like the troll farm) why is Russia crucial to each and every piece of “disinformation”? I seriously wonder where the minds of liberals go to digest that each and every time. American trolls not “powerful” enough? American disinformation not convincing enough? Only the delicate genius of the Russian disinformation campaigns usurp all others…American, Chinese, it’s always Russia! Yeah, that makes sense. Perhaps the goal is to distract from how very involved China is? Why isn’t the finger ever pointed at China?

When the NEJM praised China for the great job they did with covid, one would think that was enough to discredit them (especially since it was brought to us by people with grants from the Ragon Institute, NIH/NIAID, Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust; and from Dr. Sharon-Lise Normand, who has a patent pending with the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, Fuwai Hospital, China.

    https://www.nejm.org/doi/suppl/10.1056/NEJMe2029812/suppl_file/nejme2029812_disclosures.pdf?fbclid=IwAR1vVdICQWHznp1pHvtwGTolTguUaZ3Cc2dDO-cJmTJs-gu3jhVHzn_uIoY

But…crickets. From what these e mails reveal, Biden is the Manchurian candidate.
Which anyone paying attention over eight years of interactions with China would already know.

Very astute of you, I think. China has penetrated its tentacles into our country much farther than the USSR ever did. If we need any evidence of that, all we have to do is remember how the NBA and our Big Tech companies are kowtowing to China. Scary situation.

    2. Perhaps it is Russia Russia Russia because of stories like these

      https://www.foxnews.com/politics/doj-charges-russian-military-hackers-worldwide-cyber-attacks-winter-olympic-games

The defendants are six current and former members of GRU, Russia’s military intelligence service. The DOJ said the attacks began in November 2015 and continued until at least October 2019. The allegations do not include any interference in U.S. elections.

The alleged attacks include malware strikes against the Ukrainian power grid, Ministry of Finance, and State Treasury Service; spearphishing campaigns and attacks against French President Emmanuel Macron’s political party, local French governments, and French politicians before their 2017 elections; the global NotPetya malware attack that infected computer worldwide including those in medical facilities in western Pennsylvania and a large American pharmaceutical company; the Olympic Destroyer attack that targeted computers supporting the 2018 Olympics; a spearphishing campaign targeting South Korean officials and citizens, as well as Olympic athletes; another spearphishing campaign against the United Kingdom’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, and attacks targeting government entities and companies in Georgia.

While Russia seems to be interested in disrupting western and allied governments and inciting discord and unrest for political reasons, China so far seems to be more interested in economic espionage.

No. They do it all. You’re talking to a person who has had her information stole more than once by Chinese (along with thousands of others, in the great OPM, security clearance hack). Around 20 agents are dead from information gleaned from Chinese hackers quite recently.

    3. Set aside the fact that the Trump campaign, through Giuliani, is colluding with a known Russian agents (US Treasury already sanctioned Giuliani’s source, Andriy Derkach) in another, this time incredibly more lame attempt to steal the election, again. Set aside that US Intelligence agencies had warned the Trump Campaign last year that Giuliani was the target of a Russian influence campaign. Don’t even pay any attention to the absurd chain of custody of this laptop that ph so conveniently fell into Giuliani’s lap. Ignore the fact that, as MW points out, the newly indicted GRU experts do exactly this sort or hacking and disinformation espionage in order to spread distrust of democracy in other allied countries and in our own. Go along with the ghoulishness of releasing Hunter Biden’s stolen private anguished texts to his father from rehab as sick Giuliani effort to wound Hunter’s father by humiliating the child. Ignore the fact that “stolen emails” corrupted by Russian hacker-and-leak agents is exactly the same gambit played by Trump with Russia in 2016. Forget that most reputable reporters just aren’t taking the bait this time by dribbling out obvious Russian disinformation while Americans are actually voting. (Even the New York Post’s tabloid reporters are bulking at being witting accomplices of actions so traitorous you our democracy and even Fox News refused to run such obvious unverifiable Russian propaganda).

Yes, somehow just hold your nose and swallow all that dung. But even then, doesn’t this still just stink to high heaven as monument of putrid desparation? Is this really how desparate you are for your characterless cult leader to steal an election that you are will to risk fomenting treason to get it?

      1. Even Giuliani admitted that there is a 50 percent chance that his big Biden October Surprise is just a sick Russian disinformation ploy. And then, Giuliani says that he doesn’t care. Just think about that.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that I don’t believe that we all have the “right” as Americans with free speech to propagate what amounts to foriegn disinformation that is traitorous to our democracy. What I am saying is that we should also know that with every “right” comes some “responsibility”, otherwise we are just sad conspiracy theorists working with our adversaries to destroy our own most sacred institutions of democracy from within. Do we really want to even risk being a party to that?

          1. Non sequitur.

Last week Giuliani told The Daily Beast that he thinks there’s only a 50 percent chance that his Ukrainian collaborator Derkach is really a Russian spy (actually, US Intel and the Republican Senate Intel Committee consider him a known Russian agent), and that it did not matter to Giuliani if his Hunter Biden material was linked to Russian hacking.

Take that in. IT DOESN’T MATTER TO HIM IF HE IS SPREADING RUSSIAN DISINFORMATION! Does it matter to you?

You like to criticize the “mainstream” media for supposed mendacity, but it seems that you will swallow any pablum, no matter how desparate, that the Russians spoon feed you.

          4. Tom,

Trump and his crime family openly sell us out one a massive scam at at time every day. It’s not a matter of a few weak, over blown conspiracy theories that only a tabloid would touch of an addict son having some business connections overseas, it’s a family making millions in bribes at their hotels, real estate investments, clothing lines and resorts from domestic and foreign sources, including and especially Russia and China. At this point, it’s really hard to tell the difference between the RNC and Trump’s own private piggy bank, between his work for us and his selling us out for himself.

Remember Tom, Trump, not Biden, is the one who tried to get the G7 moved to his own private resort, who got his diplomat there to try to move a sports event to his resort in Scotland, who lets his golf course members take turns running the nation for fun and profit, who’s inaugural fund is simply missing tens of millions of unaccounted donations (some disguised illegal foreign contributions). who used military aid as a bribe and a threat to dig up this same sad, nonexistent dirt on his political opponent, and it goes on and on, Trump’s corruption is so massive and out in the open that it hides both under every rock one turns over and right out there everywhere you look. It’s really hard to even keep up, the man is so blatantly, unabashedly, unscrupulous.

But he is your sacred sinner isn’t he? You love it – he is your swamp creature that you think will bring drain the swamp, and with it, the well spring of our democracy just so Trump can put up one of his resorts.

So yeah, a tabloid tells you that Biden’s son has problems, and you are so desparate to project the vices of your fearless savior in you strange hope to bring down our government that you will believe anything.

I wonder, what will it take to convince you that the American people have totally rejected this scoundrel and with him the Republican Party that Trump has destroyed and rebuilt in his own corrupt image? 🤔

Trump is your Robespierre you know brother. He talks a good populist talk about bringing down big government, but he is too corrupt to the core to do anything but destroy everything he touches. With luck, all Trump will be remembered for in the end will be as a feckless demagogue who was undone by his own fecklessness in mishandling the Pandemic. Why? Because Trump couldn’t actually lead a two clown car parade and it has become obvious to almost everyone but his most rapt cult acolytes.

I don’t really care if Hunter has a drug problem. I’m not obsessed with sex so I don’t care about the porn either (though if there is a picture of him with a 14 year old, that is a problem). The troubling comments on those e mails refer to “big man” Biden and money exchanges, also the need to buy burner phones.
And, unlike your assertion (though I am not a legal expert), I’m pretty sure e mails don’t require a chain of custody. Or no person would be jailed for sending a text or e mail…ever. There’s no way to prove that phone never left their hands.

          7. Second hand tabloid gossip. Only the folks inside Trump’s echo chamber care, and Trump already has their vote. Let’s talk about Trump’s secret Chinese bank accounts or about all the patents and licenses the Trump’s daughter got from China while she’s working at the White House, or about private dire briefings that the Trump administration gave to Wall Street analysts that initially tanked the stock market and got those insiders rich on short selling, all while telling Americans it was nothing.

Now all you’ve got is a bank account closed in 2015, Ivanka’s patents (what’s a patent worth in a nation that routinely steals intellectual property, I wonder? anyone can make a patent, for anything…it’s not a privilege only rich people get), and bunch of media lies about Russia.

          10. The more I think about it the more insane this gets. For years the media was posting garbage base on third person hearsay. Even with illegal surveillance they found nothing. And this concrete evidence is “tabloid hearsay”. Imagine what the media would have done with this much evidence on Trump.
It is now obvious with all the information coming out that Trump was correct to ask the Ukrainian president to look into Burisma. And we get media crickets.

Citizen Tom, this article was written by a former federal prosecutor. He explains elsewhere that although the FBI had the computer in their possession during Trump’s impeachment hearings, via subpoena, they never got a warrant to actually look at the contents. Which explains a lot.

      2. Set aside the fact that the Trump campaign, through Giuliani, is colluding with a known Russian agents
The primary source for the dossier was a known Russian agent.
The source used to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on a campaign and all the people associated with it. Then an FBI lawyer doctored information to avoid revealing the target of that warrant was a known CIA asset and had been for decades. Comey received a private, pleading letter from this CIA source and ignored it. This illegally obtained information they used against the president of the United States of America. And it was proven fake. After years of very public, partisan driven media attacks.

Don’t even pay any attention to the absurd chain of custody of this laptop that ph so conveniently fell into Giuliani’s lap.
Well, the FBI had it during the Trump impeachment hearings so it has been around quite a while.

        REALLY?!?
In 2016 the Russians created 11,000 emails, many personal to family members, and 1000s of photos, including family pictures (and some homemade porn). And planted it in a little PC repair shop whose owner contacted the FBI (and was ignored at first, until they subpoenaed the computer months later). That I did not know. Tell me more.

Forget that most reputable reporters just aren’t taking the bait this time by dribbling out obvious Russian disinformation while Americans are actually voting.

The Director of National Intelligence says it isn’t Russian disinformation.

        1. Liz,

This Hunter Biden nonsense has been thoroughly debunked by several media sources as well as the Republican Senate Intel Committee. Why do you suppose that only a tabloid would print it and even then some of their “crack reporters” (sarcasm) didn’t want to put a byline on it? (The supposedly politically biased FBI was vindicated by their own IG Report.)

All put together, your charges, even if they resembled reality, are not even close to the proven nepotism and blatant corruption of the Trump Crime Family on any given Tuesday.

Don’t you smell the desparation here? This is all a sad distraction, a Trump projection of his own crimes and rampant corruption, a distraction so that Trump doesn’t have to talk about his own failures in this Pandemic, failures that have led to the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans, failures that are only multiplying as the disease spreads unhindered and instead aided by Trump as Trump sponsors super spreader events.

As the polls show, no one is buying this conspiracy nonsense outside of Trump’s loyal base, a base who will obviously believe anything at this point.

All that said, I think we are blessed as a nation. Blessed because Trump realy is so flawed and incompetent that he did not even know how to use this crisis to sail into a waiting victory and even greater autocracy that a more capable demagogue would have taken advantage of. I think that in the end Trumpism, despite the high cost in lives and treasure, may be a learning moment for the country to move on from our grievance based bipolar politics into a new era of solving existential global problems “together” while also trying to maintain a liberal sense of high tolerance for pluralism and individual liberty that are the greatest strengths of our unique democracy.

All of this will require positive incremental institutional reform such as our own history teaches us, and not the tear-it-all-down French and Bolshevickk Revolutions that in the past have only hurt real human progress.

We’ll see, but I think that, if we are both fortunate Liz, you may live to look back and realize that you were
on the wrong side of history, pushing for a brief moment against that slowly bending arc toward greater justice, with your support of Trump and Trumpism. If we are lucky . . . . 😊

Hillary Clinton runs a child trafficking ring in the basement of a DC pizza parlor where all the Dems practice cannibalism and human sacrifice. All the press in the country is participating in a plot to hide the fact that Joe Biden is so senile that he can’t even feed or dress himself. And now the most nepotistic President in history, unabashedly guiltily of using his public position to benefit himself and his family, is accusing Joe Biden of secretly plotting corruption that he does out in the open every day.

Donald Trump’s favorite hat trick is to accuse his opponents of doing exactly what he has done or is about to do and you all fall for it every time. One of my favorite Trump projections lately is his accusing Joe Biden (exactly like he did Hillary before him) of using performance enhancing drugs. One can only guess that all that sniffing Trump does during the debates means that more than snot is stuck up his nose.😄

If it’s too good to be true, it probably is (and that includes pee tapes on COVID Donnie, although given his sexual history, would it really surprise you?). The FBI is calling all of this a Russian disinformation plot where they mix just enough truth with the lies to con the gullible.

I know. You can’t win on Trump’s actual sad leadership and idiotic performance so you are desparate for something, but sorry, wishful thinking just don’t make it so even if the tabloids tell you so.
