One of the things moany Americans have never learned is what made America possible. We don’t grow up with the understanding of what makes someone a Christian, and we don’t grow up with the understanding of what makes a nation Christian. We have to be taught, and it helps to have a good teacher.
As a pastor Mel Wild is a teacher. Part of teaching is finding good instructional material. So, if the video in Mel’s post seems a bit long, be patient. A good instructor selected it.
This video is an important conversation every Christian needs to hear. While we all should support real justice for black Americans and be for police reform, we must also be discerning about the agenda and ideology behind social justice movements today.
