Our children are in school. They do have the option to go on-line. I saw a school bus full of children going past my house yesterday. But my advice to the parents of those kids would be to home school if they want them to get an excellent education.

Homeschooling is not easy. Some parents would also be lousy teachers. Still, given the choice between a secular education and one that acknowledges the existence of God, I have to agree.
True. That’s why school vouchers are so important. I certainly wouldn’t want my kid indoctrinated with some of the kooky stuff that passes as public education.
Less and less.
Our second son just started at a top tier University.
His “English” class is entitled:
Writing the new international: Black Lives matter in global context.
I’m guessing last semester the title was different.
BTW, his “in class” courses are him, in a classroom with other students, all with laptops skyping the class.
Out of state tuition for this school is 50k a year.

50K a year? Ouch! Hope he is getting a medical or technical or some such kind of degree. Basket weaving sure is not worth that kind money. It is just paying to be instructed by people with ideas that don’t work.
Well, he gets in state tuition thank goodness, so for us isn’t that high.
No degree should be that expensive, IMO. Maybe actual medical school.
