When I got a comment about a Trump using a Bible as a prop and a church as backdrop (see => https://citizentom.com/2020/06/01/idle-hands-are-the-devils-workshop/comment-page-1/#comment-93681), I considered writing my own post. Instead, I wrote a comment in reply. Besides, what insanitybytes22 wrote is more than sufficient.
See, there's this thing called biology...
So let me just get this out of the way right out of the gate, many of those SJW Twitter pastors, all outraged and offended about how allegedly “the President is just using the Bible as a prop and a church as a backdrop,” are probably suffering from a bad case of projection.
Yep, I said it! We tend to hate in others what we hate in ourselves, even when we don’t recognize it. A good chunk of y’all are offended because YOU’VE been using the Bible as a prop and using a church as a backdrop. I know this because you pick and choose which parts of the Bible you believe in, you comply with the culture, and you look just like the world. Also, you cultivate fear and hatred. Then you advocate for perpetual victimhood and attempt to nurture all those delicious and quite seductive, feelings of persecution.
