24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
It is an ancient axiom: divide and conquer. So it is that our enemies strive to divide us, and so it is that we strive to unite so that we might remain standing.
What is true of warfare is also true of politics. That is why this editorial, Trump Should Be Removed from Office (christianitytoday.com), received so much coverage in the mass media. Here is the gist of it.
But the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s…

Tom,
I wrote the new post which is titled King Solomon Blog,Two Missing Ingredients of Pelosi/Trump Hatred Conundrum?,
‘
I scheduled it for tomorrow morning in case I want to edit it again.
]Frankly, you probably may consider my opinion too simple a solution. However, sometimes the simple is in plain sight of what is either needed or overlooked, in my opinion.
Will look forward to your end of the year post.
Regards and goodwill blogging.
Tom,
There is an interesting Perspective article today about hate in the USA related to both political and religious opinions.
In my opinion, while Christians may be divided on politics, they should focus on the main core purpose of Christians as well as every other religious sect, assuming it is religious and not a political entity.
And the core issue is to bring up peace whenever confronting article of hate.
If Interested.
Americans are at each other’s throats, Here’s one way out.

I would be interested in your opinion or take on the article because I am considering writing a blog post on the subject to link to your post.

Interesting article, but I don’t think the proposed solution serves a useful purpose. Telling someone not to hate only serves a purpose only if they believe it is wrong to hate other people to start with, which probably means they already know it is wrong to hate other people.
Think about how that article starts. The reporter who asked Pelosi if she hates Trump asked her a perfectly legitimate question. It is the kind of question Liberal Democrat reporters ask all the time. She is just not use to being on the receiving end.
How was Pelosi “trapped”? Instead of simply saying “no”; Pelosi said “no”, castigated the reporter, and then enumerated her excuses for hating Trump.
What was the reporter’s offense? He asked a Liberal Democrat if she hates anyone. That is not politically correct. Only Republicans hate anyone, especially the Conservative Christians who worship that mean and wrathful God. So, the point of the article is to remind Liberal Democrats to tell Republicans that THEY are not suppose to hate.
What the article refers to as high conflicts can only only be resolved when one side destroys the other or when both sides sees the advantage of a compromise as undeniable. Yet that the article had nothing to say about the source of conflict or possible compromises. That is because Liberal Democrats see their opponents as hateful because they won’t give them what they want. So their “solution” is to eliminate the hate.
Thanks for your interesting perspective comment.
I will have to select a Solomon writing to relate both the article and your comments if I write a post on the subject.
Regards and goodwill
