So Jordan Peterson is sometimes criticized for why he won’t publicly identify as a Christian. So he gave a talk about it.
I really like when talks about faith. He said among other things, “I thought, well … who would have the audacity to claim that they believed in God? If they examined the way they lived, who would dare say that?”
Yeah. That’s the tension, that’s the struggle. “There are none worthy, not one.” It says that in the bible. A whole, whole lot of Westernized Christians would do well to examine their lives and ask themselves that very question.
Have the audacity to go boldly before the throne of grace and dare to ask, So do I really live my life as if I actually believe in God??
