Here is a video worthy of our time. What is love?
Before you marry someone, consider this short little video. Why are you marrying? To give or to receive?
Before you think you love someone contemplate https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+13&version=NKJV.
What is the nature of your love? Before you believe you understand love, that you truly love anyone, imagine yourself saying these words after you have been beaten, whipped, capped with a crown of thorns, and crucified.
Luke 23:34 New King James Version (NKJV)
34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
I wish I could say I have loved someone, but I doubt I truly ever have, certainly not as Jesus loves us.
Many of you understand the concept of love; listen to Rabbi Dr. Abraham Twerski explain the real side of love.. I think you’ll find it interesting….
Good video, and writeup, Tom. 🙂
Love is a verb.

This is good stuff, Tom. “Fish love,” very cute. Our heavenly father made a tremendous investment in us, by giving His very life for us, but also by pursuing us as individuals, healing us, shaping us. He has made an investment in us.
I once watched a man lovingly restore a classic truck, he polished it, honored it, and I actually started to get truck envy. Then I began to understand that what we are invested in, we truly love. That’s where our heart is. His truck was his baby. That is the kind of love our heavenly Father has for us, we are His investment.

Sometimes we think we know something. Then someone states the matter more plainly, and we know it better still.
🤔
At least, that was my reaction to that video.
