Respecting Donald Trump

If you are worried about the role of the news media in our political system, here is a post post worth reading and thinking about.

Note that the author describes part the problem and part of the solution. Part of the problem is the outrageous bias of the news media. Part of the solution is respecting the authority of a lawfully chosen leader.

What is the complete solution? Each of us has a part to play. Each of us has to care enough about the welfare of our neighbors to play that part.

Salvageable

By mid-November of last year, meetings were being held in Washington DC to plan and organize the impeachment of President Donald Trump. This fact is bizarre, given that he had just won the election that month and would not be inaugurated for another two months.

I did not vote for Donald Trump in the Republican primary election. I did not vote for Donald Trump in the general election last November. If the election was held today, I would not vote for Donald Trump. But Donald Trump is my President. He won the election last year, an election held according to the procedures mandated in the Constitution of the United States.

  1. Respect the office yes, However, President Trump is an anomaly President, the result of past presidents who were politically correct, but ineffective representatives of the people who voted for Trump.

    President Trump does not adhere to King Solomon’s description of a wise person persona. Yet voters selected him because he brought up the truth rather than the political correct

    Will he succeed in his term?
