Here is the point of reblogging this post. When we just give our money to politicians, they spend our money to achieve the biggest political payoff. That’s not the same as spending our money wisely.
Consider the issues presented in Drowning in Chlorine….. Then check out http://pwceducationreform.wordpress.com/2013/10/25/the-squeaky-wheel-gets-the-oil/.
Most of us are busy. Because of taxes, politics cost us a lot, but we do not have time it takes to track where our politicians spend all our money. When the Federal Government spends 4 trillion a year, who knows where that all went? We don’t even know where the Prince William Schools spent the billion it got from us.
Limited government is just commonsense. If we want the money we earn to be spent wisely, then instead of giving so much to politicians, we need to keep most of it and spend it. We also need to allow our neighbors the same right.

Any numbers cited are from the Superintendent’s proposed budget because the final, approved budget for this school year isn’t available on the PWCS web site.
