What’s my criteria for the best posts of 2012? These are posts I thought worth reading and think that others will also think worthy of their time.

Are these post my posts? No. I list what I think are my best posts down down at the bottom of this page (and will update the list for the New Year). What I list here are the posts I enjoyed reading on other blogs.

January 2012

FIREWALL:  The Vote Pump from Freedom, by the way: Bill Whittle explains how the Socialist Democrats buy votes.  Spend. Spend. Spend.

Independent Learning is Out – Group Think is In from PWC Education Reform Blog: Do our schools discourage individuality?

A New Term: Islamonausea from quotes and notes and opinions:  Pat Condell is godless comedian, but he does not find in Islam much to laugh at. What he really detests, however, are the apologists for evil.

February 2012

About Conscience, Not Contraceptives from Deo Vindice: Does freedom of religion involve more than hiding in a closet and praying?

March 2012

As Porky Pig would say, “Ble, ble, ble, that’s all folks!” from blogsense-by-barb: Barb goes over President Obama’s record.

Thank You, Kathleen Donnafield from To Be Right!: Harry answers a critic.

Kidron: the Death Valley of the Bible from Settled In Heaven: The “retired pastor” provides a Bible lesson. Check out Settled In Heaven. It is a first-rate place to learn about the Bible.

April 2012

The Four Failures of Macro Evolution from Thinking in Christ: Russ answers the arguments for the Theory of Evolution. Here is how he begins.

Science is observable, testable, and repeatable. If something is not all three of these things, then it is not science, but rather a collection of just so stories. Is evolutionary theory science, or a collection of just so stories?

Every time history repeats itself, the price goes up from bluebird of bitterness: Humor at Obama’s expense.

Early Church’s Understand of Genesis 1:26 from With All I Am: A little bit of Bible history.

May 2012

142 House Democrats Join Republicans In Vote to Keep Holder’s DOJ Honest from Thatmrgguy’s Blog: About an episode in the failed effort to hold the Obama administration accountable for Operation Fast and Furious.

The Grey-Haired Brigade from Voting American: A complaint against a true tale that is stranger-than-fiction. How do the Socialist Democrats get away with calling the Tea Party activists extremists?

Unfortunate juxtapositions from bluebird of bitterness: More humor.

“‘Boys, the old flag never touched the ground!” from pumabydesign001′s blog: A bit of history.

June 2012

The Presidency: The Root Of Our Problems from The Mason Conservative: One man’s idea of how to fix the problem.

Evil Disguised As Good from THE FAMILY FOUNDATION BLOG: Here what many probably think is a largely Protestant organization quotes Pope Benedict XVI.  The Family Foundation has a Christian mission, and Catholics contribute to fulfulling that mission.

Gunny & Glock – Wrong Diner – Extended Version – YouTube from partneringwitheagles: The lesson in the video is simple. Free men and women do not depend upon somebody else to defend them. Serfs and slaves do that.

July 2012

Obamacare: Biggest Middle Class Tax Hike in American History from Catholibertarian: There is much discussion of the Fiscal Cliff. Supposedly, to prevent going off the cliff, we need to reinstitute the Bush “tax cuts.” The corporate news media is playing a shell game.

The Peace Now of Economic and Social Policy from sitting on the edge of the sandbox, biting my tongue: A Californian sitting on BART composes her thoughts. Here is how she concludes:

In this election year, our concern should be wealth creation and balanced budget along with family values.  I don’t think there is a sign anyone right of center (except for David Brooks, of course) is willing to give up our core principles and further restructure our economy in the direction of socialism if only the liberals will promise to behave.  Why would they?  The welfare state is design to replace the family.

July 20 1969 Neil Armstrong walks on moon from Craig Hill: Neil Armstrong died this year.

If There’s One Thing That Offends Me… from The RAP Sheet: Note Justin’s comment. I would like to see the answer.

From the Ruins of Empire from Shaun Kenney: A book review.

August 2012

Ecumenism or You-Come-In-Ism? from Biltrix: A Catholic priest explains the Catholic Church’s ecumenical mission. Here is an excerpt.

The true meaning behind the Church’s ecumenical mission is to bring about the fulfillment of Christ’s prayer to the Father: “Ut Sint Unum!” — That they may be one, as we are one (John 17:11).

Note that “Church” above is capitalized. There is only one Church.

Obama’s America 2012:  24+/- Hours in Chicago.  30 Shot.  7 Dead So Far.  But Gun Laws Live. from Disrupt The Narrative: P. Henry Saddleburr comments on the good works of the Socialist Democratic Party.

I’m A Totally Selfless Volunteer from NooneOfAnyImport’s Blog: Linda tells us about her work as a volunteer for Citizens United.

Democrats Claim McDonnell “Poisoned” Biden from Virginia Virtucon: Political humor.

September 2012

Ode to Empty Chairs from Stealth Magnolia: Political humor.

Blind and Deaf from My Blog: Because of the way the post is organized, I found it a bit difficult to separate the author’s own words from the Bible passages, but it is worth the effort.

Receiving Bad News from YOU DECIDE: When Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s wall, he struggled to persevere.

Four Year Anniversary as a Blogger from pumabydesign001′s blog: Here the blogger offers her own testimony.

October 2012

Why Starbucks should avoid sliding doors from bluebird of bitterness: The comics are my favorite part of a newspaper.

Conservative bloggers unite to defeat Obama from Conservatives on Fire: In the final days before the final vote.

Question for Obama Supporters from Right Hook: And we still don’t have an answer.

Sunday Verse 1 and Sunday Verse 2: Root of Evil from Level_Head: Level Head wrote a series of seven posts (really eight) in response to the Food For Thought Award.

SamHenry Discovers Life in a Wheelchair from ON MY WATCH – the writings of SamHenry

I’m Home From the Hospital from Catholibertarian

Blog-A-Thon Award Time — I’m It from Phoebe’s Detention Room: Anybody who picks “Deuteronomy” as their favorite book of the Bible has at least read it.

Values. The Fact Is, We Need God. from Lyn Leahz: A couple of great videos.

An ObamaCare Parable from blogsense-by-barb: A commentary on the strings the “generous” Socialist Democrats attach when they “give” away the wealth of the “rich.”

The Dustbin of History from NooneOfAnyImport’s Blog: About a video that shows the misguided thoughts of a little boy.

December 2012

Sunday Verse 5: Mammon and Rewards, Sunday Verse 6: Two Worlds, and Sunday Verse 7: Christmas Rambles from Level_Head

Thoughts On Hell, Sin, Grace, Works from Notes from the Crossroads: What is Hell?

Newtown, Gun Laws, Peace & the Abortion Connection? from Courageous Priest: Believe it or not, the issues are related.

Where Was God at Newtown? from Deo Vindice: Yes.

On Marrying my Best Friend… from Crystal Clear Conservative: Congratulations!
