Recently one of my readers thought this post, PEARL HARBOR DAY, was just too much. Well, he ought to check out the leader of the Democratic Party’s campaign website. Here is Obama’s excuse for fundraising.
This holiday season, we’re giving you a chance to have a little fun at the expense of a Republican in your life by letting them know they inspired you to make a donation to the Obama campaign.
Simply enter their name and email address below. Then, we’ll send them a message letting them know they inspired you to donate. (Don’t worry—we won’t hold on to any of their information.)
Thank you for supporting this campaign, and happy holidays. (from here)
Note that this is the latest iteration. They added the line that says they will not hold on to email addresses (from Obama Asks For Republican Email Addresses From His Supporters at Human Events).
Why would anyone who thinks my post insensitive vote for Obama? Do we really want the leader of the free world:
- Collecting the email addresses of his political opponents so he can taunt them during the Christmas Season?
- Encouraging people to hand over the email addresses of their “friends” so that he can spam those “friends”?
Check out 95-year-old Harold Estes’ letter. Estes apparently believes Obama has a low opinion of both Christianity and the people he leads. Is Estes wrong?
Because our president’s request for email addresses is so outrageous, the news story has crossed the Atlantic. See Obama’s campaign trawls for Republican email addresses as his ‘unfavorable’ rating hits a high.
