Some may think the following posts unrelated. However, if you do, may I kindly suggest you reconsider the matter?
This post is from NooneOfAnyImport’s Blog. The poster comments on the video below. Here Senator Sessions questions Education Secretary Duncan. Senator Sessions provides jaw-dropping comments on Education Secretary Duncan’s testimony.
Why the comments from Senator Sessions? Duncan misrepresents his proposed budget. WHEN HIS NUMBERS DON’T ADD UP, WHY IS THAT MAN IN CHARGE OF THE EDUCATION OF OUR CHILDREN?
You don’t believe Education Secretary Duncan is in charge of the education of your children? That is why we have this link to the PWC Education Reform Blog. Here the poster explains how the Federal government is using its ability to print money to buy off state legislatures with a few measly dollars (your own, by the way) and a ruse. What is the ruse? Educrats call it Common Core Standards and Assessments. For some reason they expect us to believe national experts and national standards will improve education.
We are we being such idiots? When we know we would be stupid to trust Federal politicians with a monpoly on auto manufacturing, what makes us think we can the trust Federal politicians with an education monopoly?
The third post at To Be Right addresses the fundamental problem. We have lost control of our government. Here the poster reminds us how the Constitution is suppose to limit the power of the Federal Government. What that poster does not explain is how we lost control.
How did we lose control? Because our parents, our grand parents, and our great grand parents allowed politicians to own and operate education monopolies, current generations do not know either how to control our government or why that control is necessary. So now our leaders are educating us the hard way. Because we have not exercised our responsibilities as citizens, our leaders threaten to bankrupt and enslave us.
