It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This... #Sex For It's Intended Purpose

Reblogged from That Mr. G Guy's Blog:

Feminist scourge Amanda Marcotte is going apeshit over a new website. We learn from The Other McCain;

Young folks have discovered a kinky new sexual phenomenon: If a man places his penis inside a woman’s vagina, she can have a baby.

This shockingly weird activity is being promoted by a Web site called 1Flesh.org, whose founders describe their revolutionary idea…

Not quite sure what to make of 1Flesh.org, but I suppose it does not hurt to discuss a Christian approach to sex without specifically referencing the Bible. "1Flesh" is, of course, a Biblical allusion any Christian will recognize. So the roots of 1Flesh.org's beliefs are not being hidden. Nonetheless, we must not lose sight of an objective truth. Human reason is not enough. Unless we love God and humble ourselves before Him, we will not do what is right. We will not love each other as we should.

  1. I saw this via Mr. G too, and I like what I perused of the website. It’s a rather bold angle on retaking the American culture. Funny how, in my old age I’m beginning to recognize how many good things secular culture, maybe the debil hisself, has tried to strip from the Christian experience, and of course sex is right on top of the list. I like the idea of taking back what is still rightfully good and not being embarrassed about it.

      Agreed. It is an thing about shame. Another person can shame us in the eyes of others, but no one can make us feel shame or embarrassment. Ultimately, we make ourselves feel shame or embarrassment.

      1 Corinthians 1:26-31 Good News Translation (GNT)
      26 Now remember what you were, my friends, when God called you. From the human point of view few of you were wise or powerful or of high social standing.27 God purposely chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise, and he chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful.28 He chose what the world looks down on and despises and thinks is nothing, in order to destroy what the world thinks is important.29 This means that no one can boast in God’s presence.30 But God has brought you into union with Christ Jesus, and God has made Christ to be our wisdom. By him we are put right with God; we become God’s holy people and are set free.31 So then, as the scripture says,
      Whoever wants to boast must boast of what the Lord has done.

      When we are embarrassed by our belief in Jesus, we have things backwards. Because our faith is weak, we must pray that God will strenghthen it.
