It stands to reason that Earth Day would be something akin to a religious holy day in such a place, and as expected, huge crowds turned out for the celebration. To demonstrate their abiding love for Mother Earth and their gratitude for all the copious blessings she bestows on them, these folks left Fort Mason Park looking like a war zone.
