The world does not conform to our wishes. It is as it is. Such is Delegate Scott Lingamfelter message for President Barack Obama.
Obama’s Reality Check
Well, President Barack Hussein Obama has finally met his primary nemesis. Reality. For those who remember their literature, Nemesis was the Greek goddess of retributive justice. And that is exactly what confronted Obama last week when terrorists attempted to kill 300 plus innocent citizens over the skies of Detroit. I wish I could tell you that as a result of Federal efforts, we averted another terrorist act of gargantuan proportions. But alas, I can’t. Thanks go to the brave passengers of the Northwest Airlines flight that took action against a passenger who had all the markers of a person who should NEVER have boarded a flight, whether bound for the United States or the most remote spot in the Sahara Desert, a disaster was averted. Yet this happened.
Reality showed up for Obama last week and it was a retributive justice for sure that rebukes the President’s silly notions of reality where profiling doesn’t fit, the term “war on terror” is offensive language, and the idea that if we apologize incessantly for America and suck up to foreign satraps, we’ll all “get along” swimmingly. In other words blame America first. This may get huge applause in Copenhagen, but it falls flat in the heartland.
And Obama’s response to this near tragedy? “We’ll fix it”. Really. Well, no he won’t. And here’s why. Obama is a prisoner of his own self-delusion.
Obama is the most naïve, unprepared, and unrealistic man who has ever been handed the reins of power in the post nuclear world. It’s a frightening fact that he lacks a basic understanding in the judicious use of military power. He chafes at the notion that you must play hardball with (1) nations who are at best dangerously neglectful of the collective security of the free world, or at worst, (2) our outright enemies. And he is so wedded to politically correct thought that he is incapable of taking objective and sober action in the face of real threats to our security.
Want proof? The moment—the very day—it was known that the Netherlands permitted a demented nut bag with a one way ticket, no checked baggage, and no passport to board a US-bound aircraft, we should have barred ALL—count them folks—ALL aircraft flying from Holland to the US until they got their act together. But what did we get? We were treated with three days of stumbling and bungling and “we’ll fix it” excuses that makes us no more secure than we were when this terrorist attempted to blow up an aircraft over a major US city. Obama now tell us that this was a “systemic failure”. No, Mr President, it’s your failure. The only “systemic failure” we endure to this day is your Presidency. THAT is a “systemic failure”; the election of an incompetent man who possesses a warped sense of reality.
Folks. It’s time to wake up. Obama and his Administration are feckless. They, by their neglectful omissions, have made our nation more vulnerable to terror. And our enemies know it, which is why I am not very optimistic about the year that lies ahead. Gird yourself. It’s going to be a rough ride.
But patriots have recourse. What can you do? First, you can help elected leaders like me get the word out. That means supporting my PAC by clicking on the donations tab at the top of this report or at this link. It’s easy and I need your help. So please help http://www.va31st.com/donations.asp by making a donation today.
Second, join the Heritage Foundation http://www.myheritage.org/donate/and get the truth about what confronts us. They didn’t ask me to do this. But it will help. They’re great conservatives.
Third, be a voice. Write letters to the editor, call talk radio shows, and wear out the phone lines to your Federal elected officials.
And finally, vote Democrats and Obama out of office. This can’t happen too soon in my book. Start working and organizing now. They are putting the nation at risk. Wake up.
Whatever you do, don’t do this: sit passively. One day your grandchildren may ask you “what did you do when our freedoms were at stake?’I would tell you that you want to be able to reply “I took action”.
Have a Happy New Year. But please, resolve it won’t be passive action.

Those who object to profiling ignore a simple truth. What we believe makes a difference. We each act upon our beliefs. That is normal human behavior.
When people believe in a religion that condones suicidal violence, they will engage in suicidal violence. When people believe in a religion that does not respect the right of others to practice their own religious beliefs, they will not allow others to practice their own religious beliefs. Thus, when people from a certain region practice a religion that condones violent jihad against the followers of other religions, it is only sensible to be particularly suspicious of the people from that region.

The law of gravity really IRKS me. If not for the law of gravity, I could fly about the planet as a bird, and use burn no CO2 producing fuel. And I hate cold weather. Can’t we change that? Likewise, I wish extremist Moslems wouldn’t go around killing people. But wait, until we can change the way things are to the way things ought to be, I think I will prefer profiling, too. 70 year old nuns don’t kill, Moslems do.
John Doe – The way things ought to be? What would that be? I do not know. Yet some seem to think they do, and they would put themselves in charge of telling us.
Yet it is God who is the Creator. If God is the Creator, why can we not assume the way thing are is the way He wants? If so, then the way things are must be the way things ought to be — or at least we are moving somehow someway in that direction.
70 year old nuns. Yes, those old ladies should be our first concern. That is, I think we must be on the lookout for Muslim fanatics disguised as 70 year old nuns. With a good disguise, even profiling can be defeated.
