I got this email with an attached flyer (Health Care Flyer). Since the flyer also struck me as useful, I posted it. What it contains is information compiled by local citizens that you can use.

Are you concerned about the current efforts to reform America’s health-care?
Congress is racing in a radical direction. Most of us would like to see some reasonable health-care reforms, but what is happening is outrageous. The attached flyer gives specific examples from current legislation that is of grave concern, highlighting rationing and the paramount life issues.
Please read this flyer and pass it on via email so that it spreads far and wide across the country!
In the President’s recent speech he told the country ”death panels are a lie.” Such sound bites are being used to distort legitimate reservations about Government involvement in the end of life issues. I recently saw an obituary of an elderly gentleman in a European country with socialized medicine. He decided to end his life in a Euthanasia clinic being convinced that his life no longer had any value to society.
Thirty years ago ”partial birth abortion” was unheard of and would certainly have been dismissed as a lie.
“We the people” can have a powerful impact by letting our voices be heard.

Please keep in mind that the socialists in Congress have yet to give up. These people want control of our economy. These devious souls have already taken over the mortgage lending industry (and we can see how well that worked). Now the same crowd wants control over our health care.
Think about it. When we want to run our own lives, why does the Federal Government need ever greater control? The Federal Government strives for control of our education, has control of home lending, and now seeks complete control of our health care. Our government even wants control of a large part of the automotive industry. How does any this help us to be in control? With such leverage, what is to stop our glorious leaders from taking control of us? Do you want to be a slave?
Well intentioned or not, too many in Congress do not seem to understand the difference between their job, protecting our rights, and buying our votes. So we need to remember and remind them. People who protect our rights help us to stay in control. They let us decide how we want to run our own lives and make our own decisions. In particular, they let us keep our own money and let us decide how we want to spend it. Is that what the rascals we elected are doing? If you do not think so, you had better make certain they get that message.
