RACIST SUPPORT FOR THE PRESIDENT’S POLICIES?

We keep getting variations on the following question from our neutral, objective, wholly unbiased, Liberal, corporate-run, news media.

Can some of the opposition to President Barack Obama’s policies be attributed to racism?

What we don’t see is the following question.

Can some of the support for President Barack Obama’s policies be attributed to racism?

If racism is wrong, then racism is wrong regardless of whether our skin is white, yellow, red or black.  If racism is wrong, then racism is wrong regardless of whether our racial preference is for a majority or a minority.  Unfortunately, given the corporate news media’s demonstrated agenda, those simple observations are not evident.

Consider this excerpt from today’s debate.

One of the most revealing moments of the debate came when Gregory asked Deeds if some of the opposition Obama has faced over his agenda can be attributed to racism. It can, Deeds said. McDonnell disagreed with that sentiment when asked after the debate.  (from here)

Yep, that moment was revealing alright — of half of the story.
