If you put a ten-year old behind the wheel of a car, then you had best pray the child is sufficiently mature.

Our government depends upon a mature and moral citizenry. Unfortunately, that Me Generation we call the Baby Boomers has demonstrated neither maturity nor morality. Too many stand in line volunteering to be victims and to be “bailed out.” Too many pass their responsibilities onto government instead of taking them upon themselves, and this behavior we have taught our children.

It mentions God – the God of Christians and Jews least anyone be confused.

The Constitution is our 2nd try at a foundational document for the government of the Nation. It is sheer genius for limiting government, but creating one that works well enough.

Too bad all three branches of the federal government don’t follow the 1787 Constitution today. Or, to be more explicit – abuse the 1787 Constitution today.
