		<description><![CDATA[The first amendment guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of the press.  The tenth amendment prohibits the federal government from getting into activites not authorized by the Constitution.  Seemingly, the tenth amendment would preclude the Federal Government from financing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.  But nobody except us &quot;extremists&quot; seem to notice the contradiction between Law and practice.

Whether it is a huge company, a huge nonprofit, or big government, we have to ask the same question.  Is this about solving a problem?  Or is someone grasping for as much power as he can get?]]></description>

I would like to ask Mr. Jefferson whether that includes tax payments for public opinion factories we call public schools. To wit, the University of Virginia.

It is also the reason &quot;faith based&quot; welfare is so poorly conceived---it&#039;s all tax based.]]></description>
