If the election had been today, Bob Marshall probably would have won. although by a close margin.
Whoever can get their supporters out to vote is crucial. This one will be close. Also, be watchful for any funny business to try and steal the election.
If the RPVA wants to avoid controversy, and support fairness, they will have each unit report their totals from the floor and record the vote total, live, without any back room nonsense.
If this is handled fairly, we may be witnessing a rebirth of the GOP. If the vote is a sham, or is handled in secret, then we may instead be seeing a very sad demise of our Party here in Virginia.
All of the delegates must demand fairness and transparency in the voting process.
I am supporting Jeff Frederick for Chairman because he is the right leader for the Twenty-First Century. Smart, aggressive, savvy with high technology and a superb fund raiser.
I am supporting Bob Marshall because he is a kind hearted man whom I know would do all that he could to help any one of us, regardless of race, color or creed. I also believe that we MUST cut away from all things affiliated with Bush, because the voters see anything connected with Bush as being despicable. Hager and Gilmore are seen as tied to that Bush legacy, and whether true or not, those ties will severely damage our Party in November.
