Don Richardson - Thank you for visiting and for your kind compliment.

The example set by the School Board contributes considerably to the ability of this blog to provide "fair-minded" coverage. When I watch School Board meetings, I am impressed by the ability of all board members to focus on the difficult task before them. There is very little posturing or posing.

When there is universal agreement, the board thanks the administrative staff and volunteers for their good work. When there is disagreement, the debate is respectful and orderly. I only wish Congress could operate with as much aplomb.

Thank you very much for your generous comments about the School Board's work. It is truly humbling to receive praise on a day devoted to the memory of men and women who gave the "last full measure", but nevertheless it is much appreciated. I also appreciate your fair-minded approach to covering our activities. Would that all blogs were so intellectually honest!
