In addition to the usual politics as we work to nominate candidates for Federal Government offices and to fill Republican Party positions, this meeting will feature a Q&A with school board officials.

CALL TO MEETING

By the authority of the Plans of Organization of the Republican Party of Virginia and the Prince William County Republican Committee, I hereby call a meeting of the Prince William County Republican Committee, to conduct its regular business on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 7:00 PM to be held at the McCoart County Government Building, 1 County Complex, Woodbridge. Seating by Magisterial District. All meetings are open to the public and all are invited!

Members: Can’t make the meeting? Please send someone with your proxy form!
Lapsed? Please re-apply (no fee.you already paid) with the membership form and have your voting privilege re-instated for the following meeting.
Ready to Join?: please register for the PWC Republican Convention where you will be elected as a Member for the 2006-2008 biannual term.

Please note: this will be the final meeting of the PWC Republican Committee for the 2006-2008 biannual term. There is no March meeting planned in favor of the April 12 PWC Republican Convention. Convention information is at www.PWCGOP.org.

REPUBLICAN OF THE YEAR
Awarded to the person who most exemplified Republican ideals and leadership in the past calendar year. The award may go to an elected or unelected Republican.

BILL AND JEANNIE KLING VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Awarded to a person who most deserves recognition for extraordinary hard work, hours volunteered, or effectiveness in service for Republican causes at the grassroots level or other volunteer position.

NOMINATIONS, VOTING, AWARD DATE
By 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, send nominations for either or both awards to Steve Botello, PWC GOP Communications Director, at communications@pwcgop.org. Voting on the awards will be by secret ballot at the February 25 PWCRC meeting, and awarded at the PWC GOP Convention on April 12.
