The Times Community Newspapers has an informative article on the mudslinging in the 29th Senate District (here). When you read this article, keep in mind that it is incumbent upon you to investigate the candidate’s claims. Who are these people? What have they done? What is the truth of their words?
As a voter, you have a duty. No matter how much we might wish otherwise, we can trust our elected officials only to the extent we verify the truth of their words. The temptations of high public office are great. Thus candidates lie and smear the reputations of their opponents.
If you are too lazy to do your homework, please do not vote. Please stay away from the polls. Let those who know what they are about decide the outcome of this election.
UPDATE: It occurred to me that folks use Google to fetch any post with candidate Bob FitzSimmonds and Senator Chuck Colgan’s name in it. So, since this post is about their electoral race….
