Here are some campaign announcements from Bob FitzSimmonds. Please note the date change for the event with Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling.
Campaign Update – CHANGE OF DATE for Bill Bolling Event
Dear Friends,The campaign for change in Richmond is going well. Debbie and I are meeting wonderful folks at the doors, volunteers continue to sign up for the campaign, and we are meeting a lot of new voters at community events.
Change of Date for Event with the Lieutenant Governor:
Leslye and Bart Morrison are graciously hosting an event for us with Lt. Governor Bill Bolling at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 27. The Morrisons’ home is located at 8055 Knightshayes Drive, Manassas, VA 20111 (map). For more information or to RSVP, please call 703.330.2969 or email debbie@vote4bob.org. If you would like to financially support the campaign but will be unable to attend, you can donate by clicking here.
July 4 Activities
The campaign will be out in force this July 4 and we would love to have your help. We need volunteers to walk in the Dale City parade in the morning and help campaign at events in Manassas and Manassas Park in the afternoon and early evening. This is one of the few times when we have the chance to see a lot of voters in one place, so even a couple of hours can help us a great deal. Contact david@vote4bob.org if you can volunteer.10 for Bob
We have launched a new initiative: 10 for Bob. You know folks in your neighborhood, at your place of worship, at your kids sports events, etc. who may not be as involved as you are, but who vote. Please sign up to talk to 10 of these folks between now and November 6th (david@vote4bob.org). We will supply you with materials for this effort. You may even want to schedule a Meet and Greet to accomplish this. Read on . . .Meet and Greets
We are continuing to attend and line up meet and greets in homes around the district. We would love to meet your neighbors and hope you will consider hosting one in your home. A pitcher of lemonade and a plate of cookies is all you need to supply (well, in addition to your house and a few friends). We will help with invites and phone calls. Please email david@vote4bob.org if you think you can help.
Signs and Bumper Stickers
We have almost run out of our first batch of bumper stickers, but more are on the way. Driving around the district, I think it is evident that a lot of you have taken them, but are waiting to put them on the cars. Please get them where people can see them and contact us, if you need more.We are getting lots of great sign locations and would love to add your home or business to the list. If you would like a bumper sticker or a yard sign for the fall please call David at 703-393-8939 or email him at David@vote4bob.org
